چکیده

Smoking can weaken immune function as reported in previous studies. However, benefits of exercise reducing negative effects smoking on salivary lactoferrin responses is scarce to date. Hence, the purpose this study determine an acute bout among smokers and non-smokers. Eighteen sedentary men were recruited; nine (age = 22.4 ± 1.4 years; BMI 22.1 1.1 kg/m2) non-smokers 0.7 years old; 22.5 1.9 kg/m2). In study, participants cycled at intensity 60% maximum heart rate for 60 minutes. Participants given cool water much 3 ml/kg body weight minutes 20 40 during session. Participants’ saliva samples collected pre post-exercise. Heart perceived exertion (RPE) recorded pre, Mixed ANOVA was used measure significant differences between groups within group. The results showed that flow rate, concentration secretion not significantly different (p>0.05) also post-exercise each RPE increased (p<0.05) session both groups. As a conclusion, exercised does affect men.
